Thoughts on maintainable web applications

About Me

I’m a web application developer from Boston, USA.

I have spent my entire career (thus far) building and maintaining line-of-business web applications for various organizations. I am not the fastest at building new apps, but I’m one of the best at managing complexity and I care deeply about continuous adaptive maintenance (which costs money but can save you from throwing away your code base five or ten years from now). I don’t believe in doing the same work twice and to that end I have spent ten years developing an open source library that eliminates some of the duplication that exists across business web applications, making these applications easier to create and allowing them to be passively updated with new technologies. I hope to use this library to build some new apps that really matter to the world, while continuing to support those I’ve already built.
